Quarter-finals of the 2002 World Cup. Sven-Göran Eriksson’s England go a goal up through Michael Owen. However Rivaldo brings it to 1-1 before half time, and Ronaldinho cleverly see’s David Seaman off his line to chip the ball over him from a free kick in the 50th minute. A player showing promise of what was to come 3 to 4 years down the line. Ronaldinho is then sent off however, but England still can’t bring the game level. Brazil progress and eventually and deservedly win the tournament. Clive Tyldesley commentary.
