The Soccer Aid TV programme, broadcast in May 2006, included six films featuring UNICEF Ambassadors telling the stories of children whose lives have been affected by HIV/AIDS, malaria, malnutrition, lack of education, lack of clean water and abandonment. These are the areas of our work that money raised by Soccer Aid supports. In this film, recorded at Bernabeu stadium in Madrid, UNICEF Ambassador David Beckham speaks about the number of people who die each day from malaria. 80000 people come to the stadium to watch Real Madrid play every week. 80000 is around the same number of people, mainly young children, who die every single month from malaria. www.socceraid.org.uk?thesource=yt
